Join us for the Golden Circle Tour, where you’ll witness waterfalls, geyser eruptions, walk along a volcanic crater, and see the gap between the Eurasian and American plates at Þingvellir National Park. Enjoy a stop at a geothermal bakery in a unique geothermal park.
Your first stop is the captivating geothermal springs and geothermal park in Hveragerði. Visit Eilífur, the newest geyser in Iceland, which began erupting in 2016 and impressively erupts every 15-20 minutes. Enjoy “hverabrauð,” a sweet geothermal bread freshly baked in the on-site bakery. Inside the greenhouse, see experimental banana plants thriving so close to the Arctic Circle.
Head to Kerið crater. Kerið’s striking red earth and vibrant green moss create a captivating contrast, complemented by a turquoise-blue mineral water lake at its base.
Next, visit the awe-inspiring Gullfoss, one of Iceland&#8217;s most beloved natural wonders, featuring a double drop where the water plunges into a narrow ravine, creating a stunning spray.
Nearby is the Geysir geothermal area. Strokkur, an impressive geyser, displays its power with reliable eruptions every few minutes, soaring up higher and more powerful than Eilífur. You’ll also see bubbling hotpots and superheated streams, leaving behind vivid, multi-coloured residues.
Your final stop will be Þingvellir National Park. Here, you&#8217;ll be mesmerized by the vast gap between the Eurasian and American continental plates. Beyond its geological wonders, Þingvellir holds immense cultural and historical significance for Iceland. It was at this site that the Vikings established the world&#8217;s oldest surviving Parliament in 930 AD.

Day Tours

Visit the famous Þingvellir National Park, Geysir geothermal area and Gullfoss waterfall and enjoy a relaxing and soothing bath at Fontana Thermal Baths.
This amazing carbon neutral day tour takes you around the Golden Circle to see three of Iceland’s highlights: Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geothermal area and Þingvellir National Park. You’ll then visit Laugarvatn Fontana’s natural steam baths.
The town residents built the original sauna in the 1920s. Back then, it was little more than a shack with two compartments sitting above the hot spring. Today, a modern complex welcomes you to relax. You&#8217;ll enjoy various hot tubs and steam baths naturally heated by Icelandic hot springs.
Upon arrival in Fontana, you will take a short walk with one of the locals to a nearby natural hot spring which is used as a local natural bakery for the village. You will get learn how to bake a loaf of bread in a hot spring. Next, you&#8217;ll see the person dig up a loaf of traditional sweet Icelandic rye bread, which has been slowly baking. Enjoy a taste of the warm rye bread with sweet butter and smoked trout before dipping into the Fontana hot tubs and natural steam baths.

Golden Circle and Fontana Wellness

This best-selling tour of Iceland&#8217;s most famous landmarks includes a visit to Friðheimar greenhouse.  It&#8217;s the classic Golden Circle with a sustainable twist!
Your carbon neutral tour starts with a visit to Friðheimar greenhouse where you will learn about the magical methods of managing pests by using biological methods. Also, you will also learn how to grow delicious tomatoes in an eco-friendly way using geothermal heat, which Iceland has in abundance.
After Friðheimar, your group will stop at Geysir geothermal area. The Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 metres (98 ft.) into the air every 4-8 minutes in a thrilling display of nature’s forces.
The visit continues with Gullfoss waterfall,  which tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 metres (105 ft.) deep.
You will also visit the historical and geological wonder that is Þingvellir National Park. Here the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimetres per year. Þingvellir is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Golden Circle and Friðheimar Greenhouse Visit

This tour will take you to all three attractions of the famous Golden Circle directly from Reykjavik, with an added visit to the unique Secret Lagoon. It is a perfect Icelandic experience giving you a chance to visit waterfalls, geysers, and historical sights and soak in a natural hot spring.
Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall is one of the three sights of the Golden Circle route. This incredible waterfall attracts thousands of visitors every year, and for a good reason –  according to the World of Waterfalls, it is one of the top ten best waterfalls in the world.
Next you will have the opportunity to walk among the bubbling hot springs of the Geysir geothermal area, but make sure to stay within the restricted area for your safety. Strokkur geyser is a site that you should definitely not miss; it spouts water sometimes up to 40m(100 ft) high!
Thingvellir National Park is a beloved place for Icelanders, as well as a UNESCO world heritage site. Here Icelandic history and great geological wonders come together, making the place one of Iceland‘s most symbolic sites.
The stone-lined Secret Lagoon is the oldest swimming pool in Iceland, a natural hot pool suitable for bathing year-round. The locals call this the “Secret Lagoon” because it was known only to them for a long time. Now you have a chance to bathe in the hot water of this outstanding pool with its magical geothermal surroundings.
